Permit Status / Estimated Timelines

Welcome to the Permit Center! Find your county below for instructions on how to find the current status of your building permit.

 

Note: Make sure you have either your Parcel Number (Otherwise known as Tax Parcel Number) or your Permit Number(s) on hand. If you don't have either of those, feel free to reach out to us as we'll have both!

King County

For Permitting Information in King County, you'll go to the King Co Online Permit Search.

Step 2)

 

Select the "Building" Tab toward the top of the page.

 

Step 3)

 

Enter your parcel # and hit Search!

Stated Review Timelines

  • New Single Family Residence 18-20 Weeks (as of May 2018)

  • Horse Barn / Ag Structure / Non-Residential Accessory (Such as a shop) ~6-8 Weeks (as of Nov. 2018)

For Permitting Information in Island County, follow this link to the Online Permit Center to search for your permit!

Snohomish County

For Permitting Information in Snohomish County, you'll want to visit the PDS Permit Search Page. You may see multiple results, as SnoCo separates the building permit from anything to do with your land (such as an LDA).
